Comments (0)Permalink Share No Collections at the County Fair Wednesday May 9, 2012 I was doing some research for an article about the basics of the Alameda County Fair, and came across some sad news. There will be no collection competitions at the fair this year! Instead, that building will feature an exhibit in honor of the fairs 100th anniversary. Im a bit disappointed -- I had decided last year to actually enter that competition this year! Oh well, theres always next year. It sounds like the rest of them are still going to happen -- so if you know how to bake, carve wood, sew, landscape, arrange flowers or even write poetry, take a look at the site.
